Tyms is a full cloud ledger built in Lagos, not a payroll bureau and not an NRS Access Point. Strength is double-entry, invoicing and catch-up bookkeeping with an AI agent. PAYE, WHT schedules and accredited e-invoicing stay outside the box.

Local support
Tyms was founded in Lagos in 2021 (Adepoju and Chineye Ochem). Support and demo motion are Nigeria-first even though billing on the public pricing page is in US dollars.
Migration notes
Moving onto Tyms is usually statement-and-invoice catch-up (the public add-on is $150 per backlog year) rather than a QuickBooks IIF ritual. Export a trial balance from the old file and keep the old tenant read-only through the first NRS filing season.
What does Tyms actually cost in naira right now?
The public Evolve plan is $200 per seat billed annually, which is ₦265,800 per seat per year at the 1 September 2026 CBN close. There is no naira list price on the official page. Credits and catch-up years are extra.
Does Tyms meet Nigeria’s 2026 compliance rules?
It keeps Nigerian books and can surface tax intelligence. It does not, on the public product page, claim to be an NRS-accredited e-invoicing Access Point. Treat PAYE, VAT returns and WHT schedules as work you or your accountant still file.
When should you not choose Tyms?
If your auditor already lives in Xero HQ, or your group must push every invoice through an accredited e-invoicing integrator you already pay for, switching for a cheaper seat is usually the wrong project in 2026.
