SeamlessHR
SeamlessHR is a Nigerian HR and payroll platform that handles what global accounting apps cannot: PAYE under the 2026 bands, pension, NHF and other statutory deductions, with employee self-service. It is not accounting software — pair it with QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Tyms, Business Central or SAP and post one payroll journal per run.

What it actually is

Best for
- Employers with 50+ staff
- Companies that want HR records and payroll in one place
- Banks, telcos and corporates with complex allowances
Not suitable for
- A five-person company (a spreadsheet plus the PAYE calculator may do)
- Anyone looking for a general ledger
Local support
Built and supported in Lagos with Nigerian implementation staff — the main reason to prefer it over a global HR suite.
Migration notes
Load employee master data, YTD earnings and deductions, and pension PFA details before the first parallel run. Reconcile one month against the old payroll line by line.
Why not run payroll in the accounting software?
Because global ledgers — QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho Books, Business Central — do not ship Nigerian PAYE under the Nigeria Tax Act 2025. Running payroll in a dedicated Nigerian engine and posting a summarised journal keeps the ledger clean and the statutory maths correct.
What should you check in a SeamlessHR demo?
Run one employee through the 2026 PAYE bands using our PAYE calculator and compare the result. Check pension and NHF handling, how arrears and back-pay are taxed, and how the payroll journal maps to your chart of accounts.
How does it fit month-end close?
Payroll closes first: approve the run, post the journal (salaries expense, PAYE payable, pension payable, net pay clearing), then reconcile the net pay clearing account to the bank payments. Liabilities should be zero after remittance.
